Q1: What is the biggest advantage of the YAY-3051 compared to ordinary differential pressure transmitters?  

The main advantages are high cost-effectiveness + harsh environment suitability. At the same price point, it supports more corrosion-resistant diaphragms and high-temperature fill fluids, with stronger overload capability.


Q2: What should I pay attention to when measuring steam or high-temperature liquids?  

It is recommended to choose high-temperature fill fluid and use impulse piping with condensation cooling. The ambient temperature of the housing must be kept within -20~80°C.


Q3: How to select the diaphragm for strong acids or alkalis?  

1.Dilute sulfuric acid/hydrochloric acid: Hastelloy C recommended  

2.Concentrated acids / high-temperature acids: Tantalum diaphragm recommended  

3.Strong alkalis or chlorine-containing media: Titanium diaphragm recommended  

4.Extremely corrosive media with particles: PTFE-lined diaphragm recommended


Q4: Where can Exd IIC T4 explosion-proof rating be used?  

Suitable for Zone 1 and Zone 2 explosive gas environments (e.g., oil & gas, chemical, painting shops) as well as combustible dust environments (with IP65).


Q5: What is the difference between 0.075%FS and 0.5%FS accuracy? How to choose?  

- 0.075%FS: For fiscal measurement / precision control (higher cost)  

- 0.5%FS: For general industrial monitoring / level switch replacement (excellent cost-effectiveness)

Q6: Can the output signal support both 4-20mA and RS485 at the same time?  

Standard products are one or the other. Dual-output is available upon customization request.


Q7: There is no 24VDC power supply on site. Can I use 12V?  

Yes. Wide voltage power supply DC12-36V, but note that the output load resistance should be reduced accordingly.


Q8: Any special installation requirements for flameproof transmitters?  

The cable entry must use an explosion-proof sealing connector. The housing must be grounded. Do not open the cover while powered.


Q9: Can this product measure level?  

Yes. By measuring the differential pressure between the bottom and top of a vessel, or using the hydrostatic method (gauge pressure mode) for open tank level measurement.


Q10: Will it freeze if used outdoors in northern winters?  

The diaphragm and fill fluid themselves are low-temperature resistant (-20°C), but the medium in the impulse piping may freeze. Heat tracing or draining protection is recommended.
